This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

    EEE Straight out of lo-cash!

On my way back from the yard today spending some time sniffing around for some more horns for the car I come to this stop light on a wide three laner in each direction, this is in an kind of semi industrial area right next to a small airport. I see this 68/69 mustang which is in the right lane to make a turn, change it's mind and end up in the middle lane. It's nice, dark metallic grey with the stripes and some shiny rims on it. I look over and see this guy, about thirty sitting there starring straight forward. Ahead there's some traffic stuck at the next red light, but it's a nice straight street and the distance would be enough to make something out of it. I give it some gas, I think I can't miss this chance I never end up next to something like this. He just stares staight forward.. I give it some more, no reaction. I think oh well, maybe not but I'll be ready just in case. I think he was thinking the same, cause no one had any revs going, when it turned green and we both go for it.. We're dead even up till about fifty yards, I can't believe it, I was pretty sure he'd eat me like breakfast in that much smaller car. then I hear this foul sound.. sputter sputter, my car is bogging as it's reached the end on second, so I back off. I can hear his engeine roar, so I don't think he was holding back, he gets about two car lengths ahead and we've caught up with the traffic still sitting at the light ahead of us. The cars at the light we left look like they haven't started to move yet, wayyy back there. He gives me the thumbs up, then he falls back into traffic in his lane.
I just have to get that sputtering sorted once and for all, then we'll go and get our 17 sec run.. :pp
