A friend of mine who does paint and body had started on a 1948 Cadillac 2-door. At one time I actually tried to buy this car. The body is in amazing condition and has the original drivetrain. I was displeased when I found out the owner was going to make a Custom Rod out of it. That is the reason I wanted to buy it. To save the car. He was planning on setting the body on another frame and totally, in my view, ruin this rare car. For those of you who know Caddys, this is a classic design. Kind of a bullet shape. I have never seen one of these in person ever. Although I am sure there are some out there. I do not know what the price is. But I do know that the frame and body are extemely nice. It looks to still have the original paint. Which is a medium blue. I can get pics and speak with the owner if someone may be interested. I do believe this car can be bought at a very good price. The late 40's Cadillac 2dr's are great looking cars.'48 was the last year for the old 150hp flathead V8. That was a very smooth running engine. I had a '41 Fleetwood 60 Special with the same engine-you couldn't tell that it was running. Same with a '40 LaSalle coupe that I owned a few years ago. The '48 would be interesting to look at. Can you get any pics? or more info to check out in person?

C'mon Mike, customs aren't so bad! I don't know my Caddy years very well, what does a 48 look like? Is it like this? This is one I saw in SoCal when I went down to check out a Mustang this guy built. I thought the Caddy was pretty cool!

Chris, Yep, That sure looks like it. You are right. It does look good as a Rod.

Junkman, It does have a V-8 and I can get pics if you like as it is close to me. It is located in Apopka which is 30 minutes north of O-Town.

You have a price on it. The rod above looks great, but if it was restored to original it would be awsome. I'd be interested.

I just spoke with the seller and got a price. He lives out of town now and has given me access to go take pictures tomorrow. I think this could be a very good deal for someone.

Junkman, ya need to call me!
