Guys N' Gals.. Good friend and master Buick mechanic Ken Darby has decided to sell his personal, 1972 GS clone...superior strong runner Ken personally built this 455 with all the goodies. . . and the car has tons of options... Since I cannot place pix on this site for some reason. . the following link will get you to the pix and details. You MUST take a look at this car and I'll bet you'll wonder why they are only asking a WAY-more-than-reasonable $19,900.... www.buickperformance.com/DarbyGS.htm Ken & Cindy really hate to sell their pride n' joy, but the automotive industry left them in a dreaded position to close their family owned Darby Auto & Marine business after 26 years and they really could use the $$ about now. Please take a look and even if YOU are not interested, pass it along to someone you know might be. Thats all I ask. If you have questions, or would like to see more pix, you may contact me via email. OR you may call Ken & Cindy direct at 727-804-2894 before 9:00pm EST. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I wish them luck at $19,900. I can't get an offer above $14k and not to knock thier car at all but mine looks quite a bit nicer. This board is a TOUGH market
I think he has a chance, if you want to sell a Buick here, you need to live east of the Mississippi. Dean
Part of the problem is that most of us here already have one or two, or in my case nine. Even without a nagging wife I know it doesn't make sense to get any more. And as you said, selling them is hard. Hard to decide to do it, and once you decided to let one go it's hard to get what you think it's worth. Nice cars. I wish you both success getting a fair price for them.
Well Guys. . .I enjoy the feedback. Interesting comments. I'll letcha know how it goes. The car will be listed on Ebay as of sunday evening! THEN we'll see what the Buick market is like, huh?! :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
The last 3 vehicle sales I've had, all went through this site. After little to no response on them, I sent them through ebay, and they all sold there.
