Someone wants/needs this thing, but it's not me. It came in an 83 Cadillac derby car, and leaked like a sieve. $50 60517 zip.
From What I could discern upon inspection, The pan gasket is oozing out a little, the speedo cable mount needs the threads chased, and the o ring on the input shaft is torn. There is also a burr on the input shaft that could use a file/polish. I stuck a yoke in the tail housing and it clicks into all the gears fine, and spins freely in neutral. I degreased it and painted it gray today. It looks a lot better now. The dipstick tube was cracked, so I put another tube and gasket in it, and a chrome dipstick, lol. It might just work fine with a little TLC. They use AOD transmissions in the derby cars, and All I know of this 2004r's history is that it leaked.ou: The method of operation out here is: Scoop every rusty 80's Caddy under 500 bucks on craigslist, and wreck them for the track fans who buy tickets.
