Obtaining/Installing Posi for 1970 Buick Skylark

    Any feedback any obtaining posi for my 70 Skylark? Im very naive about this and would like to eventually convert my Skylark but would like some like-minded opinons on what i should go with and where to obtain it. Thanks!

    From 1968-70 Buick had their own version of the 8.2 10 bolt. It was a 2 year only rear, so aftermarket support is very limited. You can't just order what you need from Jegs or Sumitt. The best advice you can get will be from our member here, screen name Monzaz. His website is www.jdrace.com.

    What some do is transplant a rear from a 71-72 skylark/GS. That rear is an 8.5 10 bolt, very strong, and parts are widely available.
