67 Skylark with lots of good stuff left, bucket sets, floor shifter, lots of trim, perfect front driver side fend and hood, I thind the trunk lid was straight too. You east coast guys would die for the floor pans, perfect condition. Has a 300-2bbl. factory air car. Rear bumper looked straight, dash cluster was pretty nice as was the passenger door panel. Plenty else I didn't list.
Well, I know where I am going after work tommorow. Thanks for letting us know it is there. Gotta go tell Lori...

Whatcha need? Lori and I will be headed there after work this afternoon. Between her and I we plan on pretty much gutting this thing. Bringing full set of tools, cordless sawzall, 4 batteries and a new pack of blades. Have two pickup trucks to haul parts Are the rear quarters the same between 66 and 67? If so, I am keepin em, if not and they are clean they will be up for sale. Shipping them would be quite a mission and probably not cheap, but I do know a crating guy. What do ya need? I will check in when I get home from work, gimme a shopping list guys........ Parts will not be sold at ebay prices, more like part cost + beer money and shipping. Just don't wanna see this cars parts go to waste.
Rich - There was a 2 dr. '73 LeSabre there when I stopped in a couple of weeks ago. Can you check to see if the door handles are in good shape? Ivan (ArcDevilz - over at BuickStreet's Forum) would like them if they are in good shape (not pitted, good chrome). I could bring them up to him and bring back the cash. Or, it you like....you can join us at his place in Angelino Heights for a BBQ on May 9th. It's very close to Dodger Stadium.:bglasses: The more the merrier.:beer
There looked to be alot of nice parts on that Lesabre also, some one pulled the engine but it was still setting up front by the gate so they must have decided not to take it, probably get a good deal on a full up 455.
Stupid job of mine had me working later then I planned. Ruined my afternoon of playing in the junkyard. I will be headed out there tommorow to gut the skylark (hopefully). Gotta check out that 455, I am looking for one. I take a look at the door handles for Ivan. That reminds me, I gotta check into the Buickstreet forum more often.... Anyone need anything else?
parts needed hey dont steal my 1/4 panels i need the drivers side also how much for the floor shifter and console. maybe drivers side front fender?
That stuff was all there, but after two days it may be gone, the older cars don't go very long there, it'll be completely stripped by tomorrow I'd bet.
It is (now)almost completely stripped..... Sorry guys, other then the drivers side fender there is not a straight piece of sheetmetal on this thing. Both quarters are pretty banged up, someone had drilled about 50 holes in each door to pull out dents (and never finished), the pass side fender has the leading edge pushed in pretty bad. Bumpers are thrashed and the hood is shortened a bit. The good news, it is a floor shift, power brake, A/C car. It used to be anyway. We grabbed. The entire dash (except the pad, cracked) Steering column Armrests and bases. Floor shifter assembly with all linkage and mounting hardware. Most of the A/C (eyeball vents, ductwork, kick panels etc) The power brake setup (nice aftermarket one with dual master cyl, also got the distribution block and the lines from the master to it) A minty fresh set of flowmasters and pipes (will fit perfect on my car) I will be making a return trip tommorow for The windshield and rear window surrounds. (forgot to bring my trim tool) The rear package shelf substructure (part that goes under the back window and tail panel), mine is rotted all to heck. Sawzall time !!!! All the lower body cladding is intact, anyone want it? Door panels are not good. Armrests were shot but I needed one since none came with my car. Rear panels are OK, not great. All black The door handles off the La Sabre were pitted, not too bad but probably not what Ivan was looking for. Fun days at the boneyard.....
Seats were still there but someone took the brackets off the bottoms. Back seat was gone as was the center console. The buckets are in worse shape then mine so I left them. On my way back over there to get the trim.
Thanks for checking that out Rich!!:TU: As it turns out....it's a good thing they weren't all that great. Ivan just scored a very good set for $30 or so. Glad to see someone is making use of as much of that old iron as possible.:bglasses:
455 was gone. If it wasn't it would be sitting on a stand in my garage. No problem on checking out the door handles, always willing to help out a fellow Buick owner. I will be sorting thru the haul to see what Lori and I are keeping. Everything else will be put up for sale on here. Len, thanks for the heads up on the car. I used to be a regular visitor to that lot but recently the staff have become not exactly the friendliest people to deal with so I have not been going there much. Example, my truck wouldn't start when I went to leave. None of them would loan or rent me a set of cables, their jumpstart rig or a battery. They would gladly sell me a used battery. Finally two guys who didn't speak a word of english push started my truck for me. They got a 6 pack for their troubles. The staff who sat around and laughed at me got a big middle finger as I pulled away.
