og 66 kit

    bought my og 66 model kit at the nats long time ago,paid $300 for it,i see they are repopin them now

    mine was the skylark one,i think they made 2 or 3 versions

    The Skylark dirt track model was re-released a long time ago- maybe 15 years ago?
    Rumor has it the original molds of the stock version were modified (ruined) for the dirt car, so the stock version could no longer be manufactured.
    Sure would be nice if they brought back the stock one. Wonder if if the mold making process has been simplified since 1966?

    yes,ive been out if it 4 along time the last i remember they rmakin all of them with a number added on to the original number,they must have sold em all out,funny how time passes and u dont realize it!

    I've heard the same. I got a deal on the dirt track kit, so I snapped it up. Hopefully I can modify it back to the stock version.

    i think 3 kits originally.there is also an assembled dark green promo model,i think it had thin white wall tires,all neat but$tough 2 find

    I too have the "Modified Stocker," and agree with Walt's assessment the they "ruined" the original molds... "Fixing it" remains to me more trouble than it's worth...(Sorry, Walt!!! :) )
