How hard would it be for a person to put new oil line on a 340 v-8 from 66'?

    Pat,
I'm not sure what you mean by oil line. Are you talking about a gauge oil line install?

All I want to do is change the oil lines that move the oil from the pan to the other parts of the engine

    Pat,
Oil is carried to various parts of the motor through the oil galleys which are cast into and part of the block. There is nothing to change. Are you having oil pressure problems?

No Pat. The oil pump simply pulls oil from the pan and pushes it through the engine via passageways that are cast into the engine block.

Aftermarket setups are available for a remote oil resevoir (called a dry sump). Also, there are other setups done with lines, but they are pretty much for race-only applications and are not practical for a street car.
