Old 2-cycle fuel into modern fuel injected car?

Here's an ignorant question for those who work on current cars (like the 3800SC, '97 Riv for example...): if one were out of gas and had the "mixed" can handy from your 2-cycle snowblower, would you do any damage (I assume to the injectors, but also anywhere else) if you threw it in? Or would the car just burn up the oil in the gas w/ no problem?

Thanx to the learned in advance.....

Only part I would worry about is the Catalytic converter. Consider it toasted. However, I'm sure it depends how strong the oil is mixed in.

that would be like putting oil through all your fuel system components and engine cylinders...i wouldnt do it

Depends on how much you used. I don't think a couple gallons is going to hurt anything. Just try to dilute it with some fresh gas.

A little bit wont hurt a bit. done it in the past just to get it to the pumps and never had a problem. Once I grabbed the wrong can from my moms shed and pored kerosine in the tank. It ran like crap and smoked but it did run enough to get into town.

Oil into gasoline burner is OK(once in a great while).
But, don't put Gasoline into an oil (Diesel) burner!

put 2.5 gals in my tundra. didnt want it to go bad, was sitting for about a month. to be honest i used to put 2 stroke mix in 4 stroke mowers, weeders , quads ,dirtbikes..sometimes it would smoke sometimes it wouldent. when i was a kid and only had mixed fuel well thats what i used. i wouldent worry about overworking a cat due to the 02 control how much fuel the cat burns and it would be just like having a engine that has oil consumption due to bad rings.. might smoke a little but will clear up.
