1988 - For reference the car is a buddies 86 GN. It was modified with a custom chip he designed, a GNX turbo and a home built cold air indicutcion kit. He would peg the boost guage on the car when he revved it. Heturned an 11.6 at Adco raceway with it once, and lifted his fron wheels off the ground in our neighborhood another time. Anyway on to the story, we are going 70 (speed limit 55) westbound on the Atlantic City expressway about half way between AC and Philadelphia. I was 17, my buddy was 18 at the time. Well 3 chicks in a late model Iroc blow by us probably going 85 or so. He jumps on it and catches up to them pretty quick. We weren't really intending to race just to catch up with them (remember 3 gals!). Anyway when we get up next to them they clearly are looking for trouble (probably Jersey chicks), they start flooring it and then letting off the gas like they want to makle a race of it, so he toys with them and we both take off. Since we didn't want to leave em in the dust (3 gals!) he gets about half a car length ahead and just matches their acceleration and stays ahead of em. I have no idea how fast we are going since the needle is just buried on the right side of the dash, but I am sure it is the fastest I have ever been going in a car, in the U.S. Well this goes on for a good 5 miles or more, until a bunch of smoke starts coming from their hood and exhaust pipe, they slow down rapidly and we leave them in the dust literally "killed". Despite being 3 chicks we didn't want to spend the rest of the night rescuing their blown Chevy guido mobile. He lets off the gas and we coast for like a mile before the speedo starts reading again.
if they were hot i woulda pulled some 2fast 2furious crap and flipped that car around on the highway and headed back for them.....probaly their bro's car
