One of the seven 66's I bought

Was curious if someone could help me out here, one of the 7 66's i bought from that estate sale is a Skylark custom and it has the wildest interior I have ever seen?... At first I didn't think it was factory but now I am leaning that way but want a second opinion.

It has buckets, console, rear window defroster, power windows, some sort of "hanger" on the dash (To the right of the radio) could that be for a garbage bag?... My main question is it has buckets but with a "headrest?" (Trust me they sure look factory?) also the passenger seat reclines (which I had never seen before? Non Power) and the drivers seat is a "power" recline bucket seat? (Which I had never seen before either).

It is a shame this car is so bad off as it is a really cool car with all the options it has? I will be up there on friday to take some pictures of it to show you. Just wanted some input is all.

    Tom,
There was a booklet titled 'Engineer approved accessories for 1966' that you may have somewhere in your 'treasure chest' of parts...it shows an optional 'purse hook' that was available....chrome and spring loaded!
Headrests were optional, and rare! Someone is now reproducing them...
Reclining passenger seat was also an option. I don't believe there was a reclining drivers seat tho.
You've got some cool stuff there! :TU:

According to my wholesale order for Code 1 B states "Reclining Passenger Seat with Headrest for Driver and Passenger-Bucket Seats Only"

    Reclining passenger seat only

Ok, I verified today and am a little to tired to post a picture right now but only the passenger seat fully reclines, the drivers seat is power and locks up on me so I cannot say for sure what it will do actually! ha ha :Dou:

    So I have 2 questions...

    1) Does anyone rebuild the motors for the power seats?... Contact info?

    2) Does anyone know of anyone reproducing or maybe redoing the headrests?... As I sure like these but they have a couple cracks?...

Thanks! And any info would be appreciated!

Pictures of interior (Sorry it took so long)

    Hey All,
This is what I am talking about with the headrests... it sure looks cool and I sure think its original but I think I will have a hard time finding someone who can cover these the way they looked factory... it is almost like it was formed over the foam, the cord or ribbon edge you can see is just for looks but it is all one piece if that makes sense?...

If someone knows where I could get these done I would appreciate it! :TU:

Thanks Again and sorry it took so long for the photo's

    Wow! Could these work?...

I was searching google for 1966 headrest's and these popped up, I would think a 66 chevelle seat is the same as a 66 Lark? (Any idea's anyone?...) I plan on calling them tomorrow to get some dimensions and go from there.

    Tom,

I bet you could try a 66 GTO as well. Ames Performance probably has them. I have some photos of a fully loaded 67 GS with very similar head rests.

The repo from greenwood look correct. you might get the originals redone at just dashes.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Be careful of just dashes. When I asked them to do a 70-2 headrest pair they wanted $200 each. I almost fell out of my chair. New ones are $180/pr

As for the p.seat motor, many cars use the same motor such as the full size models. Should be an easy fix.
