    nahh nobody really.... all my friends are into sports...which i am to, football is my second life but cars are my first.

    joe,

    how much did you buy it for?

    my dad had so many oppurtunites to buy a 53 skylark, 67 GS 400 conv 4 speed, 72 GS 455 conv, and a 70 GS 350 and never did.

    im hoping my first car will be a 70 GS i got until september of 2010 to get one!

    Welcome to THE Buick site!!! I'm digging the family support. Nothing like a set of disk brakes from Grandpa. I like dad's role..."he tells me what to do, and I do it" Been doing that with my boy lately, he's 11 now. He's working on his 73 Apollo.

    more of an offenseive guy. not a great coverage guy.
    i started at 11 my dadsaid but i dont remember...probably just took chrome off...but you have to start small

    Welcome!! you say kit cars. I call them MTO's. Those guy's can go to SHEETZ, order 2 hot dogs and a stroker kit on the touch screen!

    I was 15 when I got my buick. I'm 28 now, still have the thing, and it makes over 4 times the horsepower that it did stock. So hopefully that is motivation to stick with it. Welcome aboard!

    thanks for the motivation.

    and those "stroker kits" are buy one get one on weekends so then you got twice the amount there. lol

    nick, i did in the first season but havent kept up with it.

    they have the convention at the Raddison Hotel every year.

    my friends uncle ran it and he got to hang out with steve carrel and dwight
