Stuff gets lost in the mail... I bought stuff before from well known and respected members Shows up like clock work... Then buy a Item in the dead of winter and it dont ever show up..... Its called end of story.

As far as I can tell here are a few observations so far. 1. The seller shipped out the item without delay once receiving the money. Unless someone has reason to believe this is not true that seems to be the situation. 2. The item hasn’t arrived as the buyer says. 3. There are a lot of shipping delays going on right now, who knows it may arrive super late. 4. I’m not sure what kind of insurance if any was in place? Normally insurance is up to the buyer as far as I know. 5. It doesn’t sound like there was a tracking number provided by the shipping company. It would be good to clarify the above items so that a resolution can be had. I have a hard time believing that a well known and respected v8buick member would try to rip someone off over about $30.
Well just to update this thread I ended up receiving a refund of my payment. The seller got the items back from the post office saying they couldn’t deliver for whatever reason. So I guess neither one of us was right here, I assumed the seller didn’t send, but the items were lost in usps outer space somewhere.
Those stickers are not worth the money that this all went thru 10 bucks maybe but not 30. why not just get them reprinted it isn't that hard I do it every day. If you are a design artist with a Mac computer this is a piece of cake. Unless there are copyright issues. and what is anyone going to do with them when they get them stick them in a box and say I have these. If you paste them on anything the Red ink will be the first to fade out. after about 5 years. But then isn't that what stickers are for anyways? But I guess if someone wants to spend then I guess there is someone that wants to sell it. All this over stickers damn.
Sorry, I was just trying to update and put it to rest. Its more about feeling like someone took my hard earned money. I guess I overpaid? I don’t know man. I’m not a computer guru so I don’t really know, you make it sound like child’s play to make these? I’m just a dumb heavy equipment mechanic I guess.
I have actually stayed off the site for weeks over this thread and some other post censorship because people get butt hurt over anything these days. I missed some of the guys and conversation on here so I figured I would give it another try.
Ignore Foxes Den he gets a little cranky.... You had full right to buy the stickers and expect them in the mail. It was a bit of a low ball jab for him to say that you should make your own stickers. I totally understand where you were coming from feeling that you were duked, and in the end it was an honest shipping issue with no fault to you or the seller. It’s water under the bridge, this can be a good place to interact don’t let this turn you off. Believe me I totally understand the censorship that you are experiencing, not just here it’s worldwide right now! I’ve had my YouTube and Facebook accounts terminated because I don’t agree with the mainstream propaganda. It’s important to speak your mind and have healthy debates, that’s lacking in society these days. In general I feel this site is managed very well, we have people from each spectrum and we try to allow discussion without letting things get too out of hand or political. I respect people with polar opposite views from myself, we each have that right of expression. Its not about our differences it’s about the common interest and common ground. It’s just that when we start attacking each other before we know the facts it creates resentment and drama that we don’t need on this wonderful Buick forum. Just for a minute put yourself in the sellers shoes. You listed some stickers for sale so they didn’t sit in a drawer for 20 more years. You were in the process of making a deal to sell them. You fell ill but still got them shipped out. You weren’t on the forum for a bit due to illness, and once you returned you find that you’ve been attacked by the buyer. Wouldn’t you appreciate that people stick up for your character and removed a few posts that in hindsight only embarrass the buyer? Live and learn, we all make mistakes. Don’t let one bad experience stop you from benefiting from the vast wealth of knowledge on this forum.
Sorry, didn't mean for it to come that way towards you I have a boatload of stickers my self and have always liked to get them so I know how it would feel for the loss.
