I have read that to stay somewhat true to your car you should, if not using the original color, use a color that was available in that year. I kinda want to have a color scheme in mind as I go through this, so I can know what to look for or at when getting parts and whatnot.

The original interior was blue (code 421) and exterior was DD - Astro Blue Poly. Blue is my preferential color, but not really the astro. I was thinking of going with the Midnight Blue Poly (since it was an option that year), my question is then what to go with for the interior? Or if you have any other suggestions as to color combination (interior/exterior) I'm all ears.:TU:

    Thanks,
    DT

PS This will not be a show car, and probably never see the strip, but I would like a nice cruiser to visit the local car outings.

White or black would probaly go well with that color.

Why not keep it Blue? If it was available with the blue you want just keep it. Why cause extra work. I have always liked blue interiors.

If I could see it together I might be able to make a better judgement, but the blue that was in there, just doesnt seem to jive right in my mind, at least not with the dark exterior. But I have a poor imagination, so it might look just fine.
