Hey guys I'm in the middle of restoring my 72' GS and ive still got alot left to do. I just got a catalog from opgi and I was just wondering if anyone new any other companys that may have a good source for GS parts possibly for cheaper just to keep my options open. All input is welcomed
ah completely forgot about year one. yeah defiantly not cheaper but still a good place to check stuff out. I just need to win the lottery haha:laugh:
I've gotten parts from these places. in addition to Opgi and the Parts place. Worth checking around for best prices. Opgi wanted $216 for a new coolant overflow tank and i got what appears to be the same tank from Mcintyre enterprises for $149. -Then and Now Restoration http://thenandnowauto.com -Old Buick parts http://www.oldbuickparts.com/catalog/index.php -Restored old stock parts http://www.ros6872parts.com/ROS_68-72.php -Classic nos parts http://www.classicnosparts.com/ -Buick Farm http://www.buickfarm.com/
There is a thread somewhere that has a large list of suppliers for Buick parts but Im not sure where. Hopefully somebody will know what Im talking about and post a link.
I think you mean this one. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?206934-Buick-Parts-Website-List&p=1780483#post1780483
It all depends on what you need for example I have bought some parts from National Parts Depot http://www.npdlink.com/ I use the chevelle catalog, they share some of the same parts like rug, trunk repair metal, convertible hardware etc..... they are the cheapest wish they catered to the buicks too.
I know they have gotten some negative reviews in the past, but I ordered power steering hoses from them a couple of months ago and was happy with the product and the transaction.
opgi and year 1 are both big companies that get the parts from other places mark up the price and resell them. try the parts place.i have made many purchases from them and have never been less than happy. ---------- Post added at 10:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 AM ---------- here is the link to the parts place. http://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/ many of the parts that opgi and year one sells come from the parts place. hope this helps
