hello grey buick, check the connections at your fan plug with a test light. pink or red wire should light up the test light and the black wire is ground. if you have power and ground check your thermostat. the coolant temp sensor needs a properly working thermostat to give the computer the engine temperature. what year and model is your car? john l. 1970 gsx qq
