    :Do No:
I have a hopefully simple question for all you out there...
I am eager to make a decision and move forward, but have heard so many opinions that I need some final feedback on two areas for now, but beware, more will follow!
#1-Weather stripping kits from front to rear. I have looked around and today was looking at PST (Performance Suspension Technology) catalog for compete kits.
Suspension (shocks/struts/coil springs) kits for a complete rebuild, I was also checking out the PST catalog for complete kits. I would like to know what you folks have used and weather you're using poly impregnated or rubber?
I am always hearing coments like poly is the only way to go or poly squeaks or you need to lube poly once in a while. I also hear that rubber wears out too soon, rubber doesn't give as stiff a ride. :Smarty:
I would think that poly would be better after all, newer technology should be better than old, right?
I have other issues, but this will do for know.
    Thanks:Comp:

I used a complete poly kit from PST. I also got springs, front/rear sway bars, new coil insulators, Edlebrock AIS shocks, and locally got all new brakes, brake and fuel lines, boxed lower and adj. upper control arms.

I love the poly bushings. They give you their special grease. I haven't had a squeak problem yet. And it really handles well going around corners. I'd recommend it.

    PST-Grease?

 "They give you their special grease."
What do you mean by this? Do you need to grease the bushings or?

one trick that I friend of mine uses on poly bushings to keep em from squeeking is to wrap some teflon tape around the bushing before installing it. works great for control arm bushings anyway...

PST will give you several small plastic tubes filled with a whiteish grease you use when assembling the poly busing sets. It's very sticky feeling, but works great. I haven't had any squeaking problems yet.

I installed the complete front end kit in my 70 Skylark about 7 years ago,and just put the same kit in my 70 Stage1.I haven't had any problems and they really improve over all ride. The last kit I just got from them in November there was a problem with a few wrong pieces in the kit that I had to get from Moog. But over all I can recommend the poly kit:TU: P.S. both kits were the Super front end kits

Mine was the super front end kit, too. I also got new boxed lower and adj. upper rear control arms with poly bushings. No wheel hop at all. Just power to the pavement.
