Paint code for Dupont/Nason ?

I posted in another thread , Thought I might try here. Has anyone painted their dash and steering column on a 71 GS, semi gloss black with DUPONT or NASON Paint ? Correct GM Paint code number I believe is 9387. Several members have given other codes which they had from assembly manuals that would not cross . Or what did you use on your Black lower metal dash and column resto ?

 

I believe that GM code was the same as dupont. The PPG paint works well too.

 

9387 is a PPG formula # it crosses to DuPont # 99j this is a master tint vinyl...it can be mixed flat...semi...or gloss
another shade is 4428J which appears to be a little lighter or grayer

 

Thanks, Thats what I've been waiting for. It would be nice if there was a Sticky on this post with paint code cross ref. to the name brand of paints.

Ok he beat me to it but te GM codes are 848 with W25A for semi gloss
and 848 WOA for flat.
