Found this in the trunk of a '74 LeSabre. What's it worth?

    worth

they usaully, depending on condition go between $400-$600

It is correct for 72-75 Buick LeSabre & Centurion
    71-76 Cadillac Eldorado

Will fit all 71 - 75 full size Cad/Buick/Olds/Pontiac/Chev converts, but only correct for the first listed group

In a fit of madness, I cleaned up my yard, and gave the LeSabre to the scrap yard. Now I have to buy a fuel gage. Wouldn't you know it. I'm going to get rid of my '72 Centurion HT, and since I'll never be able to afford a convertible Centurion, I might as well sell the parade boot. It'll have to be painted. I also cut out the trim containing the other half of the dutz (sic) connector. It'd be nice for it to go to a Centurion, 'cause they're both kinda rare, and the parade boot looks so right on a Centurion. If anybody wants to discuss price & condition, send me a PM or e-mail.

Can you post a picture of the mounting hardware and exactly what pieces are involved. I'm curious how it attaches and if I get a wild hair I might try to fabricate one for my Wildcat.

here are pictures and a link to a fellow that reproduces all you need to have your very own parade boot - not cheap, but I pickek up a set of the pins, clips etc as it is very hard to find good used ones.
