DAY ONE: Guys, I have begun the dismantling process this afternoon and here's what I've got so far: CONSOLE: CHOD1971 has his name on this unit...Console, complete shifter, original cable, two floor brackets, two tranny brackets....everything to manage a floor shift conversion...a nice deal for $275! NEXT: SPORT MIRRORS: Frank ie: DK71 Buick, in Denmark has indicated his interest FIRST. These mirrors are a VERY nice set of original factory sport mirrors! The mirrors have a great shiny surface! The passenger side was mounted incorrectly with pop rivets..go figure....but the gasket and bracket are intact and complete. The driver remote mirror is equally as nice, with the gasket and bracket, but the door panel 'escutcheon' and "adjustment post" were non existent...BUT NEVER FEAR...I did however, locate one of each in my stash and are now included in the set!!! Complete left and right factory sport mirrors for $130 plus across-the-bay shipping..whatever that may be... Frank, I'll need an address to get you a UPS International shipping quote. NEXT: REAR SEATING ARRANGEMENT: MGCSlugger33 is first....these seats are nearly perfect with the exception of that florescent purple covering...the springs are tight and it appears the original burlap is still inside these units...wow. the quarter arm rests, the metal filler and the actual window panels are solid. The dash pad is busted under all that purple padded glued-on material... McgSLugger33, I havent pulled the FLOOR SHIFT STEERING column yet because I need it to move the car around... BUT I WILL if you want it with the other interior parts... Tellya what, $175 takes all as outlined INCLUDING the steering column! Saturday afternoon partz: COWL SCREEN and clips... I am pointing to an area on the sceeen that is just gone...other'n that its pretty nice... so If you want it for $20 plus s&h, let me know. The "H: clips are rusted badly and these are them!
...and more: SKYLARK quarter SCRIPT: This is perhaps the nicest SKYLARK script I've seen in a long time. Too bad there's only one. ou: Anyway, I cannot see a pit or blister and the chrome finish is very good! $15 350 emblem....nice, driver quality, clean chrome, studs intact. $7. Heck, buyum BOTH for just $20! plus s&h. 72 CUSTOM GRILLE: Very good shape for almost 38 year old part! Studs are intact, NO CRACKS...no damaged areas that I can see, small minor pitting on the backside...some steel wool and elbo grease and you've got a REAL NICE grille: $125 plus box, & shipping HOOD HINGES: not much slop. Cleanum up, paintum nice and preddy and slapum on..voila! $30/pr. plus s&h. ...but wait..there's more.....!!!
..and: HOOD LATCH/GRILLE SUPPORT BRACKET ASSEMBLY: Clean, straight. hood latch works great! Release lever, handle, rod, clips are intact: $45 plus s&h. HEADLITE bucket nylon bushings: Only have these 6. ou: The rest are all either cracked and/or missing. These are not busted or cracked. All 6 for $10 plus s&h. WHEELWELL TRIMS: Nice driver quality WW trims...70-72. No rash anywhere...a small mashed area on the bottom of one WAY DOWN you have to stand-on-yir-head to see it!!! Some steelwool and polish and these should clean up real nice: $100 set of 4 plus s&h. FLOOR JACK; ...complete with factory original rubber boot for the handle, clean base, bumper bracket and the jack moves up or down as it should: $60 plus s&h.
THESE are for Scott, 70sGeek in Tampa: RIGHT fender: Had some small rust in the bottom but at one time, was welded with a new metal patch and has some new blisters...prolly shoddy prep work..? looks to be pretty solid inside the dogleg area and there appears to be no warps or dents to contend with: $60. LEFT inner fenderwell: is excellent! No rust. No busted off screws or square nuts. This left IFW is really really nice!: $45 Passenger door....has some small rustthru at the back corner, but there is NO RUST at the lower front corner where there typically is rust!!! I say this is a very 'workable door" and on a scale of 1-10 being best... I'd give it a 8.2: $60. PACKAGE DEAL: come and take all $125.
