Like the title says - I am parting out a 73' Electra, silver with a red interior. The body is surprisingly good except for around the vinyl roof where its all rusted out. It has four road wheels on it, and the interior is in surprisingly good condition, given the leakage. Trunk is rusted bad from the water leakage. Car is loaded with options - everything is in unknown condition. I am yanking the 455, TH400, and 2.73 posi 12 bolt rear from the car, and maybe the seats, everything else is up for grabs - cheap. I think the engine mounts are already spoken for also. Or someone can have the rest of the car for scrap value - about $200. Car has to be gone soon! It will be scrapped in about a week after I get the parts I want out of it! Car is located just north or toronto in Alliston Ontario.
i am always looking for excellent rear outer door handles from a big buick or caddy..... and maybe the front ones. got any top and bottom pics?
Hi, There are members here interested in parts off this car, trunk release for one, other options I'm sure will sell. If you can't keep the car for an indifinate period of time to remove the parts and sell them off I would like to purchase the complete car from you (less the parts you want) to insure these parts don't go to the crusher. Not a problem - the car is for sale for scrap value after I get the drivetrain out of it, and maybe a few other parts. I simply have no place to put the car and not enough time right now to strip it and sell the parts. After another week or so I am going to have to start paying storage on it, so I am going to try to get everything I need off of it this weekend. If you are coming to get it with a trailer, I can pull the rear end after its loaded on the trailer.
is it a Limited, if so I need all the emblems if they are ok as well as the trunk lock cover(the flipper one) possibly more
Hi, Yes I would be coming to get it with a trailer, I would appreciate loading it with the rearend hten removing the rear after it's on the trailer. Makes it easier. I can unload it using the tractor to pick up the backend. thanks Bruce
it's easy to tell, if it has Electra 225 emblems on it it is not a limited, either way I need the flipper cover for the trunk lock, possibly some other emblems if they are in good shape Also, what radio does it have, I need a AM/FM non stereo (stereo has a little box around the FM) might be interested in the skirts and mounts also Pics of the car would help too
Car has electra 225 emblems. The radio is an AM/FM 8Track, and it still has the skirts. The fan shroud is unbroken and is funky white plastic. 64-300-lark has said he is going to get the car when I am done and part out the remains, so you would have to talk to him for prices and shipping etc. I am just taking the drivetrain and rear out of the car - and probably the seats. They are the correct width for the 55' surprisingly.

Hey Rick are you interested in a Strato power bench seat, works very well, power forward , back , up, down, tilt front and back. It has spaeker holes cut into the seat backs but I have another set of set of backs. It's out of a 66 Toronado , I think 66 Riviera would of been the same thanks Bruce
I was going to take the full vinyl seat out of the 73'. Its red, and power, but the power doesn't work very well. I think it needs some loving.
Hi Rick Usually the 40 year old grease gums up and the solenoids stick that change the gears in and out. It's easy to take the gear assembly apart, clean and regrease. I have an extra gear assembly and motor if you need. Plus extra tracks but the tracks are very rusty and usable for parts only. Thanks Bruce
