People that live in the Mississippi,Louisiana,and Alabama regions,our thoughts and prayers are with you. Let's hope that the storm "Katrina" loses its strength and doesn't inflict the damage that is estimated. May God have mercy on those people and spare them tradegy.
I second that. Just when you think you have everything together, along comes Mother Nature to slam you.... I pray for everyone in her path.
We're watching it very closely on CNN. We were at the Superdome last year for a game. Hard to digest what is unfolding. Good luck & God speed to everyone.

prayers going out for all my fellow louisiananians in the southeast portions of the state. god knows they need it. i saw what betsy did in '65 and camille in '69. this one beats them both. it will take years for some of them to recover from this. i wish them the best of luck.
Thanks for the thoughts & prayers I for one am safe & sound in Baton Rouge. I won't know about my home, & possessions, & Buick (she's on the 6th floor of a French Quarter parking garage) until they allow us to return in about a week. As a survivor if Betsy & Camille, I am speechless. Absolutely stunned, weak, tired and numb by what I've seen & been through in the past 72 hours. Please pray for the people affected by Katrina
