Super nice truck and the pinnacle of that bodystyle IMHO but wow! I've seen super nice crewcabs in the mid/high $20's and thought that was nuts but I should've bought 'em to flip I guess. I'd be lucky to get 5% of that for my very similarly spec'd yet well worn '92 F-250. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-ford-f-350-4x4-24/
It sure is (both). Ppl were saying in the comments that the aluminum wheel manufacturer (I believe Alcoa on those) was on strike which is why it came through w/hubcaps.
I didn't know Ford used Alcoa wheels. Then again I didn't really know about Alcoa until some advertisements from Dodge.
Not anymore - They went Chinese about 15 years ago but in the '90's they had a solid relationship w/both Alcoa for aluminum and Accuride (US based - Light truck plant is in Canada) for steel wheels.
Interesting - I thought those were made by a company in Taiwan - Alcoa does have factories elsewhere but it wasn't Alcoa.
I could have swore they were ill go double check because its been bugging me for a while now. You know what I could be wrong. I had oem H2 wheels on the truck. Maybe those are the ones I'm thinking about.

As long as its not one huge bucket of bondo under the paint that looks like a lot of truck for the money.

Freshened up 390 with new Edelbrock intake, new Comp cam, lifters, & springs, rebuilt C6, PS, PB, A/C, new tires, new seat upholstery & foam (not just a cover), new windshield and rear window. New heater core and heater fan. Headers with new dual exhaust that terminates in front of the rear axle, has a nice rumble. Mallory ignition with Mallory billet distributor. Great running truck, lot’s of power. Not many made with the Luxury package which has the color matching interior and extra plush carpets. Some surface rust on the floor, but no where near cancerous. Trans pan gasket is a little leaky, wanders a little on the road. Radio doesn’t work and A/C needs to be recharged. I have the factory tan carpet, it’s in decent shape, no rips. I took it out so you can see the condition of the floor. Certainly not perfect or a show rig, but in really good shape. Don’t need help selling it. Price is negotiable.
It is funny, especially out where I'm from in farmville, how you'll see two trucks exactly the same except one is beat into the ground but still running/working and the other is mint and the guy still drives it a few times a year. My dad always had 3 or 4 pickups with different purposes (he has a "disease" where he needs something like 10-20 cars at any given point). One would be a small 4 banger 2wd for around town commuting and picking up small stuff, one would be a 1/2 ton 2wd long box farm truck, he'd have a nice Eddie Bauer F150 or such for the good truck, and then a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel Cummins for towing. The Cummins could've done all their jobs, but that's just the way the guy rolled back then and still does to this day
