How do I get the pinion bearing races out of the rear? Is there a special tool or a certain way to do this without damaging the rear? Thanks in advance! Scott
use a long taper punch on the back side of the race.work side to side,a littlr bit at a time so as to not overly cock the race.you may notice a couple notches to allow access. installing new races will be a little harder wiyhout the proper driver.if you don't have one,at least use a brass punch so you don't damage the race,or you can set the old race against the new one & hammer on this.expect to hit fingers & thumbs at least once doing it this method. any more questions, just ask.
