I was squinting at his sign and saw mention of the rounded doors-way cool. I hope the stereo works! I remember the under dash EQ; my brother’s was a power booster too.

Just keep those vintage Cragars and find a set of the 3 spoke knockoff centers for them!

That paint scheme was just after or around the time when cobwebbing was in.

Dig the Supertuner and booster/EQ! I'd leave the Cragars, if your gonna leave it alone, leave it alone...

Sadly the Cragers really didn’t survive. They are very rusted. The craggers on it are 14” and I prefer 15” wheels. I don’t plan to make many changes to the car but the wheels are going to have to be changed and my preference is the Motor Spyder Wheels. If I can’t get a set I may buy some Cragger Wheels. They currently make them and I can buy new ones in a 15”.

I've still got a Pioneer Supertuner that I pulled out of my 66 when it was getting redone. Put the original am radio back in. The motor in the car makes better noise to me now. I think the radio still works, but I don't think the cassette deck does anymore. Great stereo back in the day!

Dig the car! Glad you're keeping it period correct. Keystone's would look great on it.

Ryan, you really need to attack those wheels with a soapy SOS steel wool pad; not scotchbrite either! Spend a little time on them and then "spot clean" any gone spots with a dremel with a small diameter stone on it. You need to get down to smooth bare steel. then touch up with a MOLOTOW chrome pen.

I think the general consensus here is preservation, not a restoration, but in the end, it IS your car. Once you start a restoration, theres no end.
They are only "not" original once LOL. Ill bet those Cragars are pre-unilug arent they? I have a bunch of period correct cassettes that would fit right in there too. Dont get stuck in that blue toofs youforia.

I got a kick outa William, the P.O. saying how he thought the white letter tires would be too "Noisy" on the car with that paint, hence the black walls out. Find some Goodyear polyglass RWL's with the small letters and roll on! ws

Mickey Thompson Indy Profiles are my pick.....and if not doing Cragars, I agree. Some Keystone Klassics would look fantastic, and Cragar makes them now, too.

I have a pair of late 70's Appliance 15x10" wheels I would like see go to good use if you could find a second pair.

Ran these on the back of my 73 Monte in high school, had craigers on the front (could not afford a matched set)

With all that's going on I want to talk a moment and say thank you to fellow V8Buick board member JohnKaz for putting eyes on the car for me the day of the estate sale. John took the time to call me as well as take more pics of the car. John provided me a lot of information about the car and as we all know it really helps when you have a car guy look over a car for you.

Thank you very much for you help John its greatly appreciated.

Or some Hercules Honchos like on this Camaro that was sitting in my buddy's muffler shop when we put the exhaust on my 68...
I had these on my 69 SS396 Chevelle back in the 80's.

I love Radirs , but to me those are more of a early/mid 60's thing. If the Cragars have got to go, my vote is for American Daisy's...
