Maguires makes a similar product that works well.

From what I have researched this product is not anywhere near like the Meguiars, Mothers or other products which wash off and only last through a couple of times getting wet.

If you buy it, you can write the reviews and share it with us. I would be interested to hear what you think.

I was hoping someone might have bought something like it already. Its not cheap but may be snake oil and be bad for the trim which is my main concern. Haven't found anything that really last. Consumer Reports rated a similar product as good but I was told this stuff was better. Looked real nice on the car I saw it on and it did not have that greasy look.

I'd be a little skeptical also. Have to wonder if the stuff is so good wonder why they aren't doing a better job of marketing. You can get a 4oz can direct from the Nu-Trim website for $30 and free shipping. Says 30 day money back guarentee but you wouldn't know in 30 days how long it will last.
Someone could order it, use it and send it back for refund then if it lasts like they say could buy more down the road and keep it.
If I knew it worked exactly like like they say with no ifs, ands, or buts, I would buy it.

Heck, if they were smart they would send a free can to a respectable member on the various car forums and let them be test bed others on the forum would trust. Seems like cheap advertising to me....unless of course it doesn't do what it is supposed to.

Not saying this is one of them but the skepticism come from companies that market products that knowingly don't measure up but offer a money back guarentee to keep fraud authorities off their back. They know many people won't take the time and effort to ship something back in that price range so it becomes a profitable venture.

If you are looking for a black plastic restorer, I can recommend a really good one. It is "Forever Black", you can get it on ebay, it's reasonably priced. This stuff is killer compared to anything I've ever used! Not greasy, forget "lasts for 20 washings" or whatever. Good for a couple years easy on an everyday driver. Easy to apply. It will make splash shields look like new.

Thanks for the input. Guy selling the Nu-Trim on Ebay just couldn't justify the price of the product and lack of REAL reviews. That said I am thinking of giving the Forever Black a try as the same guy who told me about Nu-Trim now said he thinks it was Forever Black that he used. Either way, Big, Big difference in price and at least there are reviews on Forever Black.

I used the Forever Black on my wife's 08 Highlander yesterday. Followed the directions I found from the company on You Tube to the tee. It seems to work rather well but it does work differently on different kinds of plastics as far as the finish it leaves (satin) and how dark it makes the treated area. Overall, I was pretty impressed as it worked better than any silicone related product I have used in the past. No we will see how long it last.

I knew you would like it! It lasts a long time, you will be impressed. It's the best product and results for the buck.

After 30 days, how does it look? Did you take before, after and now pictures?
