  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. please identify these carbs Carter and 4 JET

    this ine says 4 jet on it but I didn't know where to find the carb numbers on it.

    last.... are these worth anything? are they Buick carbs or can they be used on a Buick??

    The carb numbers were probably stamped into a metal tag attached to the carbs using one of the carb screws to secure it. I'm told some guys threw away the tags during rebuilds.

    They "can" be used on a Buick, provided of course that the accelerator and transmission linkage can be made to attach to the throttle lever, and that they will bolt to the manifold, perhaps by using an adaptor plate. If you need the adaptor plate, be sure you have hood clearance for the extra 3/4--1 inch of height.

    Neither carb is a stunningly great design. If you can rebuild them cheap, fine, give 'em a whirl. If you have to pay to have 'em gone through, pass and get a new carb.
