Many of you know the Plum Crazy Stage 1 4-speed that I bought a few years ago from a board member. Well its restoration is progressing nicely and it came home from the paint shop this week. I gotta say that colour is awesome!

Just taking my time with it - it will be another year til completion.

Very cool color on your car.

I thought about a very similar color for my car, with my white interior, I think it would have looked really good.

    Hi Reg,
Car looks great. The only downside is a roof that looks frozen in place!!
Keep up the craziness,as if any of us needs encouragement.

    Hi
Is this the orignal paint color?
If so, what does it say on the firewall tag.

The reason for asking is that my wifes 69 skylark is a SCO car with a strange paint code.(if it is the paincode, I really don't know).

For an SCO paint car, the tag will tell you that it is SCO paint, but not the color that was used. There is no way to prove what the original color was, but as I recall from previous threads there was pretty good circumstantial evidence found on this car to feel comfortable that Plum Crazy was the original color.

    Thanks for the answer
It looks really good with this paint.
I have some more questions, but I can write/ask for it in my tread here.

Is that the car that was from Mass? If it was the plum crazy color could be seen on the side of the cowl with the fenders off. Someone had painted the car blue I think.

It is all purple again, I really regret letting that one go. I sold it to buy the gsx that copperhead owns now
