I listed something non-automotive early this afternoon on ebay, and it still does not appear in a search that should turn it up. In my Selling list, it shows my listing having 8hr short of the full 7 days remaining! I know there is some delay in new listings showing up in searches, but 8 hours? o No:
The very first thing I ever listed on eBay was my Mustang convertible. It didn't show up that night at all. I couldn't find it until the next morning. It was driving me nuts. Now I don't even bother with searching for the items I list. I know they'll show up sooner or later. I just use "My eBay" to moniter them through the week. And I don't even know why I do that. It doesn't do any good to watch the auction. It's kinda like watching paint dry. :gt: :beer
I have been selling non automotive stuff on ebay for the last year or so and the last week has been horrible. I have my own ebay store selling childrens clothing and ebay has been slowwwww. Twice last week when I went to stock my store, the pictures wouldn't post. I wasn't getting my listing confirmation until 4-5 hours after I listed. The worst part, I bid on a couple things and didn't get the outbid notice until after the auction ended. That really ticked me off. If you haven't been on ebay lately, you can see that they are changing things around. I'm thinking that's the reason for it being so slow lately. By the way, I'm getting notices from paypal saying that moneys been received before I even see what's been purchased. Hopefully ebay will get everything straightened around quickly.
