Hey guys its been a bit since Ive last posted. Ive been super busy trying to get this new business venture off the ground. Anyways I figured I post on here that my powdercoating services are available to all our v8buick members. Im capable of coating parts as large as 6'L x 3'W x 3.5'D. Im located in central IL for those that don't know me. If I can help in any way let me know. Ive attached some pics of a couple of things Ive done recently - camera on my phone isn't the best but it still give you a pretty good idea.

    Thanks!!

Well if there's anything I can do let me know. Current pricing for VC's are $45 for the pair. That would include stripping existing coating, pretreating, and a single stage color. Being that you'd like a candy we would start with a chrome(like) base coat and then apply the candy. This would run you an additional $22.50. Total would be $67.50 + shipping in both directions for the pair. If this is something your interested in keep me in mind Id love to help you out!

    Thanks!

I have a set of VCs I might be interested in getting done if you've found a good paint match for Buick Red.

and how about on a set of lower real control arms in just black? I have a friend who's going to sandblast them for me before I'd send them out.

LM me make a call on the Buick Red but Im sure we can find something Ive got over 6500 colors available to me. I would shoot a sample for your approval and mail it to you. Thats likely a single stage color too so unless you'd like the clear for added protection the $45+shipping costs would apply to you.

The lower controls arms if they show up blasted already will run you $20/ea+shipping.

Sounds good, how sturdy would you say just the single coating is? Since most people just paint thier VCs i'd assume Powder Coating it would hold up just fine.

When I get those those arms cleaned up I'll contact again about them, thanks!

The pics of the atv frame were done in an Ultimate Chrome. Its close but definitely not the real thing. The flatter the substrate the better the reflection you get out of it but side by side I say its more of a really reflective silver more than chrome. If its a driver I might consider it because at 5-10ft it looks really nice but if its show Id stick with the real thing. If your still interested I can give you pricing lmk.

Im about 20min south of Kankakee, so not terribly far from you. Could probably arrange a meeting in Gilman or something to help out. LMK.
    Thanks!

Yeah the single coating will hold up fine. Thats how most colors are applied, the clear really just allows you to wet sand scuffs etc...out if needed without worrying about your color coat. Being they'll be on your engine, I wouldn't be terribly worried about them but choice is yours. Haven't had a chance to call about the color yet but will today for sure so bear with me. Really appreciate your interest!

Not that I couldn't use the practice but if your looking for a sample color of the chrome Id be happy to send you a swatch so you can see for yourself. Just shoot me your addy in a PM. If you're looking to see what the grill could look like in chrome PC I could shoot the broken one first but I would have to get some kind of compensation for my time and the oven being on. We can discuss this via PM as well.

As for the intake, Im charging $75.00. That'll cover prep and a single stage coating. IF you want a topcoat ( candies, clears, etc... ) please add $37.50.

    Thanks again!!
