Getting the wagon ready for October. No big changes from last year, just tying up loose ends and trying to make it look a little better.

My goal is to get it off the line quicker and get an 11.99 or better out of it.

I'd like to be able to drive it on the street by then, but that may be asking too much.

    What are you bringing?

Still looking at a few ideas. Hoping to go, we just have to get all the timing with work to work so it will work while I'm not at work:puzzled:

It runs better with gas in the tank! :Dou:

Now I need to see if the brakes will hold 4 psi boost.

    Only 4 weeks to go!!!!

I will be bringing the procharged 455 car. I want to do a few things before then, but it could go as is. Looking forward to it:3gears:

Made a few changes since last year. Thought of carring the car down Friday for test and tune.

I have to ask this, Would they allow a Mustang with a 455 Big Block Buick in there? I'm putting a twin turbo monster together for some fun:beers2::eek2::eek2:. I don't want to race all the time:TU: but would like to run 8's:Brow: and drive back home:eek2:. I have contacted Mike Moran at Moran motorsports and he said it can be done Easily:eek2:.

They don't! Once it gets down to 5 inches of vacuum the brakes won't hold. Back to the drawing board!

A hydroboost off a diesel will take care of it. Bruce Roe

    well how did it go?

    1st pass was a 12.30
    2nd pass was a 12.002 (so close!)
    3rd pass was a 12.03 @ 116.92
4th pass - oops, the trans is fried!

At least reverse and drive still worked, so I backed it off the track and drove back to the pits.

Got some good info with the data logger, so I'm going to try a couple of things to get the boost up sooner. It takes about 2 seconds after the launch to reach full boost.

And it gained some weight since last year! 5315 lbs with me in it.

I saw your car down there. That is one cool sleeper!:TU: I fried my trans too, and I didn't even put it on the track.

I missed seeing your car (and you!) but wish I had.
