    IMG_1419 (1).jpg IMG_1423 (1).jpg * Evicted all rodents, bedding, and droppings.
    * Replaced choke riser tube.
    * Install new heater core and reassemble HVAC system.
    * Reassemble fender / inner fender, bumper.
    * Install new blower motor resistor ( I know thats an easy one).
    * Remove dash and gauge cluster. Repair clock, repair blower motor switch, clean/inspect/replace all cluster and dash lamps. Replace cluster / dash / dash cover (I impressed myself with that). I hope I'm done back there.
    * Seats and carpet out.
    * Going to need some floor pans. Nothing near the rockers or firewall.
    * Time to dust off the welder.

    Too bad about the floor rust. But you did get some tough jobs out of the way.... the heater core and dash repair takes a lot of r&r just getting to the components.

    Thanks Walt, yes tough job on the heater core. I'll take the floor pan over rockers or firewall. (not that I have experience with either) but "nuts and bolts are nuts and bolts".

    New floors are in. Not always the prettiest welds but it’s all steel and tied in well. Damn that’s a lot of work! FE5E7290-A8DD-4D0E-9C3F-8E51802A09D4.jpeg 7FFB575E-B9BF-4C59-BEDD-279CDAC17031.jpeg I’ll take that off the bucket list.

    Id feel confident putting full weight on that floor; nice work! Nice to have the tools and skills to make that happen.

    New carpet in and seats back in, cleanup seat belts. Recondition and paint wheels, Install new shocks, brakes and tires. Cut and buff whatever Maaco or Earl Scheib did in 79’. Polish all stainless, wave a white flag over the pot metal...
