yeah I know Alan but the one in there has a few cracks and I have Franks repop ready to go in once the new motor is back in. Later Greg
fram I know that's what I keep hearing about fram. The motor I pulled out still runs great. I started with a fram and valvoline 10w-30 and have never had any issues that I'm aware off. The new motor won't have a fram. Later Greg
I'm just amazed at how clean the engine bay is after 15 years of duty. Not a drop of oil or grease anywhere. Looking good. :TU:
Greg Good time the other night. The sausages didn't agree but anyway.... The pictures don't do this project justice. Super clean. And the treasure trove of goodies in the dining room! Can't wait to get into this new MONSTER!!!!!
Do you have a shot with those wheels on the car I love those welds pro star on a 69 !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you AMP ! Made it back in time to watch the Patriots get blasted. I can't say enough good things about the whole crew at AMP. Top notch service and making you feel right at home. 18 Hour drive one-way and I would not hesitate to do it again. A truly awesome experience thanks to AMP. Here's the link from Amp's website http://www.automachperf.com/buickdyno.html Look for: Greg Dickinson Massachusetts AM&P race ported Stage 2 T/A aluminum head Later Greg
Thanks Fastest430. Yeah, I'm having a hard time getting anything down because I just stand there and stare. She's in. New TA engine mounts, TA Stage 2 jet hot headers and deep sump SRE oil pan. Everything has fit perfect so far.
New fuel system mounting on custom bracket. Mallory 140 pump and fram filter with #8 braided line to inner pass fender wall mounted regulator. Current battery setup in the trunk from M.A.D. which needs rewired along with the whole rest of the car. Current state of interior which needs some Buick buckets (seeking in the parts wanted section). Later Greg
Lookin good kid!!!! Long time coming!!! Now the neighbors will be looking at you a little differently with that 308 bothering them all summer!!!! Are we running an exhaust or turndowns after the headers? If the ansewer is an exhaust then we need to take a ride before it goes off to the shop!!!! Keep on wrenching!!!
Hey Johnno, There will be an exhaust but not until after some open header action for sure. If the neighbors pictures fall of the walls I'll tell them they need to secure them better! Later Greg
Herb, Scroll up a few posts to the AMP link with the motor build. Yes, dyno'd and SE heads. Later Greg
