    Promise Keepers

Well,iI am off on Friday to attend Promise Keepers in Memphis, and I am so looking forward to it.This will be the third year that I have attended and each year it gets better. The group I go with always volunteers as ushers and we have a great time,I am hoping we can volunteer again this year.

Is anyone else planning to attend in Memphis this year?

That is awsome, glad to hear you are going to be there.First time I went was totally out there,Joe White came ripping through the coliseum on a Harley Davidson on to the stage and preached for about 45 minutes. Then cam out later and spoke for about an hour. This guy is phenominal,He is a Cancer survivor, and just the intensity from this man is amazing.

    great experience

I recall going to Pittsburg for a PK convention. A bus load of guys from church, my wife signed me up, I had no idea what to expect and I knew no one on the bus.

It was incredible I will be going again and sharing the experience with my son.

    enjoy the experience.

Well, looks like my trip may be cancelled.I spoke to one of the guys who sets up the trip every year, and he forgot to get me a ticket.

See,every year they get so many "scholarship" tickets and they gave them all away.Since I took a major pay cut this year and my mortgage went up 120 a month,I could not afford to buy one this year,so I was supposed to get one of the scholarship tickets.

Oh well,I can always get someone to pick up the cd set for me.

By the way Brad Stine is performing again this year, the guy is absolutely one of the funniest guys I have ever heard.Hope you guys have a great time and be totally blessed by the experience.

Joe, Glenn are you travelling far?

Every year on the way to the event we get up on the bus and give a quick testimony and why we are going,on the way home,we give a testimony about our experience that weekend. The bus trip isas big of a blessing as the weekend.

    WHOOO

Got a call this morning and someone backed out yesterday.I am sorry that they had to back out,but it is a blessing for me.Memphis here I come.

By the way, look for a guy with a bald head and goatee about 6 inches long.I will be wearing a blue shirt with big letters RMFJ Real Men Follow Jesus or a black shirt with the word Disciple on the front and back.Might be ushering,it would be nice to meet my first V* member in person.
