building a powerglide for a drag car, weighs about 2800 -3000 with driver going to put a brake in, what all mods will i have to do to the case, setup is stock 1.76 gearset 4 clutches in rear pack and 6 clutches in high pack .050 in rear, havent set up high pack yet. going to run a good pump and turbo spline input shaft and a stock type band. thinking of a ptc pro tree brake and a dual ring servo and a deep pan and good cooler. with a coan 3500 converter for a turbo 350. car has about 520 off the bottle and will be running 250 shot eventually. if trans works good. we will think about modding the rear clutch pack for 5 clutches but i didnt think at this power level we needed as long as were off the bottle.
