I just picked up an SF code 455. The guy selling it to me also included the "original carb". For the engine, it should be a 7040240. The carb is actually marked "29244KA 1229". I've never seen this code before. Can anyone help decode this carb?
This is a 1969 Buick 350/AT carb. For some reason, nearly all of the '69 carbs are missing the first two digits, so this would be 7029244. Cool search page http://www.carburetion.com/Number/oemnumber.asp
