Is anyone running this combo? And if so do you have any pics? Im sure I have some vacuum lines either crossed or plugged incorrectly. After making the swap, I start here up and she is idle at WOT. I finally received the chassis manual but the routing diagrams only refer to a stock manifold. All help is greatly appreciated.

I'm running that combo, but I'm having a hard time understanding what's happening - when you start the car the engine speed revs up? Or when you open the throttle it will not rev? Either way, I dont think your dealing with vacuum lines, it sounds more like something interfering with the throttle plates or the linkage. Can you post a picture of your set up?

When I start the engine it revs and stays revved. Let me try to get some pics.

First thing I would do - check out the throttle return at the linkage, then check down the primaries and make sure the throttle blades close all the way at rest....lotsa things could interfere - idle screw, dash pot depth, throttle cable geometry - it cant rev like you describe unless the throttle is open

I figured it out. Throttle cable bracket is keeping the the primaries open. I need to either modify the original or buy an adapter for it.

Glad you found the issue - I am using an adjustable holley bracket on both my 455's - this picture shows it with my old Holley, but I am still using it with the Q-Jets
