Quadrajet info.

    Can any of you guys tell me if a model#7040244 q-jet came with electric choke? I believe its from a 70 skylark or gs with a 350 c.i. Got a opportunity to buy it, but have not looked at it.

    David,
    7040244 is a 750 CFM Q-jet from a 1970 Buick 350. It used a divorced type choke. The choke coil was in a pocket in the cast iron intake manifold.

    Larry can it be with an elec. choke, is it worth fooling with? If so what do you think it would $ to do so?

    Check your E-mail. Looks like 59.50 will get you a kit to convert to an electric choke.
