If the valve body was cleaned at a trani shop IE soaked in cleaner/steamed....would the purple/pink paint that identifies the VB as a BRF get removed in the process? Just starting to question if I actually got the right VB that is supposed to be in this trani last time it was rebuilt.o No:
I know brake cleaner will take that mark off so I would not be surprised if it was run through a cleaner that it came off. That said it doesn't mean you have or don't have the brf vb. What causes you to question the valve body you have?
