I had to delete the post on the Trans Am because the owner has not got a ram Air IV as he thought . The car is a rusty original car white/ blue stripe car missing the original carb/dist . The block is WS / the trans M22 and hurst shifter/ the rear 12 bolt numbers match . The car has roof damage and comes with a roof panel .Blue interior is rough and the rust is into the cowl and floors . Non original wheels . Original dash bezel is good ( pad is not) and steering wheel is also good . The guy is looking for 7K (should be negotiable now) . Clear missouri title and the car has been sitting for 21 years. Comes with good door shells and both side glass . IF anyone is still interested email me for pics

Tony I have to charge the rechargeable batteries for the pics to be sent . You can call me at 314-323-6158 . I will give you a full description and I will still send pics . The car is in a poorly lit shop and its hard to get good pics . I can verify the WS stamped engine . The car is rough but low mile . Sitting since 84 . A real garage
( barn) find . I also believe the shifter is the original .

The good , bad and ugly but rare RA III 4spd

Here are the pics , I ran out of battery and can get any pics asked for . Hemings says top money paid for one of these with a 4 spd is over 100K

Far from the top money car but hey anything can be restored with enough cash . Several pics are too dark and I will have to take a quartz light over there next time .
What about it anyone up to this ?

ouch. this is a yr/model I'm looking for (would prefer blue ext if I had a choice), but probably not in this condition. (beggers can't be choosers, I know)

perhaps when I see more pics of the exterior I _might_ change my mind.

Chris this car is rough all over . The roof shot should tell you what you need to know about the car . It is a rare car but one that is going to cost a bit of cash to bring back from the dead . If you have to farm out the whole resto IMHO it wouls cost in the 40-50K range . Good things going for it is Numbers and the fact that these have sold for over 100K . There was a nice ne Blue on ebay for 41K last week with an auto .

I have never seen a 70 RAIII car bring $100k. A RAIV will do that but not a RAIII. In the near future, WHO KNOWS????

Hemmings staed that they have a documented sell at 104K I personally have not seen it either . Just regurgitating their info . I would imagine this is a 40-50K if done well . Like I stated if you have the ability to do the bodywork this is a doable car . If you have to spend 40 or 50 to redo it then it might just be a donor car .

Did a tree fall on it? A nicely restored ALL #'s MATCHING '70 RA III 4 speed car will bring somewhere between 35K - 55K depending on the extent of the resto.

Have you checked the block for the VIN? It will be located vertically on the front of the block on the passenger side next to the timing cover.

Have you ordered the PHS documents on the car yet?

    If it's a #'s matching car I'm interested.

Please send more pictures to sd474@cox.net - If you have any questions regarding block codes, date stamps, or part numbers feel free to email me.
