I worked for a Hyundai dealer from ‘88 to ‘92, the carbed 88/89 models were funny, especially when the ac was on
My wife was driving one of those "original Hyundai Excels" when I met her (way back when... '91?) I made fun of it relentlessly until I had to work on it. It was well designed and not bad to work on. All of the casting were Mitsubishi. It used the extra intake valve that Mitsubishi had some catchy name for that I can't remember now... Ugly and not fun to drive, but actually surprising high quality mechanicals.
He got fed up alright, and not quite on the "ban on political subjects". His last 2 posts explain it, and what a shame.
I worked on this truck about 2 years ago. The plate makes it easy to remember. Hopefully it doesn't offend any of our more fragile members Just for Larry if you look close at the tires in the bed they are studded. It is that time of year....
This duster had the 340 sticker on the back quarter panel on both sides that was part of the body side stripe. It was kind of cool because he was jumping on it and then letting off so it was rapping a little bit and when he let off it pulled a little bit of oil through the valve seals so it puffed a little bit of smoke, reminded me of when I was a kid
Its a state of mind, does not need to be stated Back to random car spotting please. Plenty of other treads available to get locked
