Hi all! I got a 72' Riviera that I want to use to break in my new Tri-Shield engine. It is not a good looking car and I am kind of embracing that! I will focus on the safety/drive-ability side of things. One thing that I would love some advice on.... When I pulled the old motor, I noticed that the passenger side motor mount was welded to the frame. It looks like they couldn't get the holes to line up. I didn't take any measurements on the drive-line to see if it was straight before I took it apart, and never drove it since I bought it with a blown motor, but my fear is that it could be an indication of more serious issues? Any suggestions on how to proceed? Cut it off and get a new one bolted down like factory? Bolt it back together and let-er buck?
