    How do I re-jet (enrich) a Jet Performance Stage 2 Q-jet?

I don't know much about Jet carbs but if it was made from a stock q-jet you need to remove the top section(airhorn) tehn the flaot and needle and seet along with main rods. The main rods go into the main jets. You then unscrew the two main jets with a large blade screwdriver. Just be careful there is alot to this if you have never done it. Choke rods and accelerator pump also take some finess to remove. I'm just assuming you have never done this so don't take offense if you know this stuff.

Yes, definately my first time, so no offense. By the way you describe it, I'd better leave it to the professionals. People have told me that the car needs to run richer to accomdate the change of intake, headers and exhaust, but Iwould not even know what size rods to get. The stage 2 Q-jet is advertised to be hi-po'd up for headers.

Get a carburator book it will walk you through it. Also you can learn a bit about the carb and it will explain all the different things you can do with it. Drag racing tunes and such. Also it will go through the different sizes of primary rods and secondarty rods. That is how I learned to rebuild them and now I can be at the race track and change rods and jets in 15 minutes or less. Start collecting junk Q-jets for the various rods and jets. Edelbrock has rods and jets for these as well. Good luck!!
