Anyone have any experience or knowledge about this kit from Dick Miller Racing? http://www.dickmillerracing.com/4-Link_page.htm
I can't get the DSE link to open-up all the wayuzzled: ...not sure if its a problem on my end or theirs.o No: But I can see the prices:shock: ou: Dick is not giving his away, but in an email from '07 he gave the following prices: (prolly higher now) Single adj kit---- $775.00 Double adj kit--- $975.00 A little easier on the wallet. But like I said, I can't get a look at much of anything at the DSE site, so I can't make much of a comparison.
Here is another option I have come across. http://www.globalwest.net/Chevelle_rear_coilover_kits_1964-72_including_other_a-bodies..htm
Here is another option from Speed-Tech Performance. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2805861
CPP has a nice STAGE 1, 2, 3 ,&4 set up, priced out well to. part numbers 6467PTK1, 6467PTK2, 6467PTK3, & 6467PTK4. http://www.classicperform.com/chevelle.htm#9 http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1964_1972_Chevelle_Elcamino/6467PTK1.htm
That's some nice looking stuff.:TU: But, I am just interested in info on REAR coil-over conversions right now.
There's always Air Ride too. The technology has come a long way in the last 20 years and it's comparably priced with the ability to make the ride height cockpit adjustable. Air Ride Shockwave Rear System
Yeah, I know they work good...but I am not interested in having a compressor, an air tank, and all the other stuff in the trunk. That wouldn't help the ETs any.:Brow:
well, if you're gonna race only you could run individual lines to each and have a small compressor trackside until you dial in the optimum pressure on each unit. Sure beats crawling underneath with a spanner wrench and an allen key to dial in the coil overs.
