  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. rear end help ,please!!!!!

    I belive the rear end on my 56 special is going out,What rear end could i use to replace it.I'm learning as i go so any help would be most appreciated. :Do No:

    Being that the car is a torque tube set up you won't have much of a choice for a transplant, unless you are willing to update most of the entire drive line.

    with the torque tube rear end you might as well just get that one rebuilt. Shouldn't cost much more than starting over.

    torque tube systems are cool n e ways.

    One thing I like about my 86 Firebird. It has a torque arm stock to get all of the power the V6 has to the ground.

    Phone book. Find a drive line place. Id buy most of the parts your self. Id pretend to have them already to cut cost. Just call up n ask for a price.Tell the the year and stuff and that you bought most of the parts for it but don't feel capable.

    They would have no choice but to profit if you got all the parts from them. Id also remove it your self. Most wont want you bringing a whole car down and the price goes up then too.
