Reasembling Quadra

    I am goin to reasemble my Q-jet soon and have been trying to find how to adjust piston for primary rods.I cant find it in buick manual :puzzled: ,
    so my question is, how far can the piston go out.
    Thanks for any input on that.

    It's replacement AC Delco, part number 7041308 .

    It's replacement AC Delco, part number 7041308 . Primary jets has stamped 74, on primary rods its 47..., and secondary rods has "AK".
    Are those even correct for 100% stock 425 Nailhead or all has been messed up?

    Try this link - lots of very helpful information on tuning. One of the main points is secondary adjustments are one of the last things you do in the QJet, because they are rarely used except WOT. He also suggests starting bone stock, tweaking timing for best performance and then make QJet adjustments from that starting point.
