from what I have seen the 2.5 boxes take away from the turning radius.

i am interested.
Two questions before: this will fit my 67 Special with power steering, all original so far?
secondly in my book it reads: turns of steering wheel left to right: 3 1/2 and gear ratio 17.5 to 1.
How much difference is your quick ratio?

Patrick it is a straight bolt up just remove and replace. I do but please check to see if your car did not come with one from the factory.as most 70-72 did hector

if the info is correct it is the 12.7.1 box 3 turns

i bought a reconditioned one from PP for my 71 junk yard dog skylark and it had a broken lock washer under one of the cap bolts and the mud was painted over so i guess there idea of reconditioned was a quick coat of paint? i cleaned it up and installed it but its leaking and i think its wore out so i want to change it out. my car is in Arizona but i wont be there for a couple of months but i can have you ship to my nieghbours and can get it from her? zip85086 if you want to figure in the shipping.
