Recommend Rattle can primer to cover black paint.

Recommend Rattle can primer to cover black paint. I'm going to change the engine bay from black to white. Previously I took it down to bare metal. I don't want to do that again. I imagine scotch bright the paint and spray on the primer.

 

I would use an adhesion promoter, not a primer. Look at SEM XXX Adhesion Promoter.
