This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

What are the years the Regal was manufactured. Would like to build a BBB regal for the street, but not sure if I can get it through COLO emmissions and title laws?

I thought they started in 1973 or 1974 and went through 1987 being rear wheel drive. After that they went fwd.

i imagine you are looking for the g body years which are 1978-1987 in my opinion you want the 81-87 body style and the 84-87 had the most modern look on them. i am not sure but have heard that if you get a factory deisel one you can get by without emissions, i never looked into cause i live in omaha nebraska and there is little to no emissions laws enforced, we have no inspections or anything! thank god! anyways some one should look into that cause i would like to know if thats true also so that when i move to texas i will just swap vins to a deisel vin.

I live MD and the emissions and inspection are only needed on cars that are
still in production and under 25 years old. So if the same rule is in your state you could use any year or a 81 to meet the 25 year rule. I used the out of production rule for my 82 Regal with sbb.
