Removing AC

    Hello there...how much of the AC system can I remove and still have a functioning heater system..?? All of it ? ( 72 Buick Riviera) Thanks for any help...Jack England

    All of it, they are not connected. At least in the engine compartment. Obviously the systems share the same ducts inside the dash.

    If you do go that route make sure to seal up any open ends on the refrigerant connections. Ya never know if and when ya might want to reconnect it and have A/C again. Dirt and moisture will ruin the system.

    Thanks fellas...doing it because ...cost to restore the system over here is way high and dont see too much heat over here anyhow..!!
